The Forbes School of Irish Dance is run by a family who has an undying love for the sport of Irish Dance. The Forbes School, the official dancers of Boston's Dropkick Murphys, provides an atmosphere of self-confidence, community and family. Forbes dancers develop lifelong friendships and an appreciation for traditional Irish Dance.


The Forbes School offers beginner to championship level classes and welcomes children of all ages! Our dancers have achieved extraordinary success in the competitive arena. Some of their accomplishments include: 1st place New England Regional champions, top placements at the North American Championships, and students who have medaled internationally as high up as the World Championships of Irish Dancing!

The Forbes Dancers perform live on stage with Boston's favorite native sons the Dropkick Murphys. During the week of St. Patrick’s day, the dancers perform with the band in sold out shows in Boston. They have accompanied DKM at Fenway Park upon request of the Rex Sox players (Big Papi), the POPS Fourth of July performance and an AeroSmith concert. The Forbes School is also mentioned in the Dropkicks song Flannigan’s Ball off their album, The Meanest of Times.
