Throughout the year, Macaroni Kid brings you the scoop. Now it is YOUR turn to tell us YOUR family’s top go-to choices to enrich, entertain, and EXHAUST your kids. We want to know about the businesses that just plain make your life easier as a parent! Let’s make this a FUN way to highlight the wonderful local businesses that make this area a fabulous place to live, shop, eat, and play!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through February 12th, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. Businesses must be located in Dorchester, South Boston, Milton, Quincy and Braintree!. Only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. Not sure if you are... We will check for you!!

Nominate your favorites and you will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card to a local business, compliments of Macaroni Kid Dorchester-Quincy-Braintree. We will be drawing a winner after the nomination and voting periods!
We will announce the winners of each category in an upcoming issue in March. The winning business in each category will receive free placement in the our Business Directory for yearlong recognition in our Macaroni Kid newsletter, a 2016 Macaroni Kid Dorchester-Quincy-Braintree Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business, a spotlight article about your business in the newsletter announcing the winners, and the honor of knowing that local area families think they are the greatest! RULES FOR $25 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY: Only one submission per email address. The nomination period will run from Saturday, January 9th at 7:00 AM through Friday, February 12th at 11:59 PM. The voting period will run from Monday, February 15th at 7:00 AM through Friday, March 18th at 11:59 PM. All eligible persons nominating and voting in the 2015 Macaroni Kid Dorchester-Quincy-Braintree Gold Daisy Awards will be entered to win a $25 gift card to a local business. Drawings for gift cards will take place at the end of each event. Winners will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org. Winners will be notified by email.
