Mass Audubon Blue Hills February Vacation Days ~ From February 16 through 19, the February Vacation Days at the Museum program is available for children currently enrolled in grades K–4. Focusing on how wild animals spend the winter, each day’s program runs from 8:30 am-3:00 pm, with aftercare available from 3:00–5:30 pm. For children ages 5 through 10. Registration is required. Members $50 per day/non-members $65 per day; aftercare members $16 per day/non-members $22 per day.

Learn How to Be An Animal Mythbuster at the Franklin Park Zoo ~ Why does a chameleon change color? Is a goldfish's memory really that short? Sign-up for the Animal Mythbusters program at Franklin Park Zoo and get to the bottom of some animal myths and mysteries! Geared toward children ages 6 to 11, participants will learn all about some of the animal kingdom's more mysterious adaptations. The four-day program will include a variety of fun activities including animal encounters, arts and crafts, behind-the-scenes tours and games! Pre-registration is required. Children’s Winter Festival ~ Boston Common ~ “This year's Children's Winter Festival has a great lineup of programmed events and free activities, and we are excited to be hosting it on the Boston Common,” said Mayor Walsh. “I encourage residents, families and visitors to take advantage of this day of fun and celebration.”Among the attractions will be Snowzilla, a three-story-high inflatable snow tube slide, and SnowGlobe Live!, a 15-foot-tall snow globe that allows participants to step inside for winter wonderland photos.


LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston Celebrates “The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure” ~ LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will premiere a brand new 15-minute 4D movie, “The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure,” on February 20. Leading up to the premiere during school vacation week, Feb. 15- 21, they will ask visitors to help turn Boston’s MINILAND into their very own Bricksburg! LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will have special vacation week hours, Monday-Saturday 10 am-9 pm and Sunday, 10 am-7 pm.

February Vacation Week: Old State House Museum ~ Activities will be offered daily, Monday February 15- Friday February 19, from 11:00am-12:00pm. There is no registration required and all activities are free with admission. Kids 18 and under are FREE with adult admission to the Old State House. Below is the schedule:
