Everyone who knows me will be able to tell you that I am a HUGE Disney fan! I love everything Disney, but have a particular soft spot for the princesses. When I was offered the opportunity to hold a viewing party for the new Tangled Before Ever After movie, I couldnât turn it down. Tangled is my daughterâs favorite. Meeting Rapunzel in Disney World in 2015 was the highlight of our trip.
The new movie, Tangled Before Ever After, was great! It kept all of the kidsâ attention, even the boys. It would have been very noticeable if Mandy Mooreâs distinct voice was not reprised as Rapunzel so I was very happy to hear it. While there are less musical numbers in this movie than the original full feature, the songs were upbeat and catchy. The animation was a little bit different but the kids didnât seem to notice.Â

Along with the movie the kids also did some activities and we had a few snacks. Having a viewing party at 6 PM means serving dinner so we made up some of âRapunzelâs Braidâ Pizza. It was a big hit and so easy to make, the kids loved it! And what is a movie without popcorn? We made up some Tanged Purple Popcorn to match Rapunzelâs dress. The kids must have loved that, I popped five bags of popcorn!Â
The activities were less interesting than the movie so they didnât get much of the kidsâ attention. The girls all practiced their gymnastics skills after the movie instead. All and all, they loved the movie, and so did I! We are looking forward to watching the new Disney Jr series, Tangled Before Ever After, as a family.
