Where can you find all day camps for youth, specializing in dance training? Right in Jamaica Plain! Tony Williams Dance Center (est. 2000) has a mission of “diversity through dance.” We pride ourselves in making sure that anyone who has the interest to dance, is taught to dance to their best abilities. Over the course of six weeks, we offer 14 different styles of dance, and even science one week, and art most weeks! Camps are offered per week, or you may mix and match any weeks that work with your schedule for a discounted rate.
TWDC Summer Camps have two different styles of camp, to meet the needs of different levels of dancers. Fun camp provides four different dance styles in one week, each style is one hour per day. We have regular snack time and a prolonged lunch period (food is provided by families). If the weather is warm enough, we go to one-of-four nearby parks, including a splash park if the weather is above 80 degrees and sunny. Afternoons include art class, related to the dances during the week. Fridays at 3pm offer a showcase of the week’s dance styles. Family and friends are welcome! Fun camp is $325 per week.
We know that most parents work full days in the summer, so we offer early drop/ after care services covering all hours between 8am to 6pm for an additional $10/hour outside camp hours.
