Hi MK families! Is your student registered to take the ISEE? For those of you that may not know, the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) is required for entrance into our district’s three exam schools: Boston Latin School (BLS), Boston Latin Academy (BLA), and the John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science.

All BPS students in grades 6, 8, and 9, can register for the ISEE. BLS and BLA accept students entering grades 7 and 9, while the O’Bryant accepts students entering grades 7, 9, and 10.

*The registration deadline for the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) is this Friday, September 21.

Online registration is available on the BPS website at bostonpublicschools.org/exam. Registration materials are available at all BPS schools and all Boston Public Library branches.

For any questions, please visit bostonpublicschools.org/exam or contact BPS Welcome Services at 617-635-9010.

>> It's so fun and exciting to think about the next chapter in your child's life. I went to an exam school from 7th-12th grade and it was a great experience. I am still connected to so many of those folks today and those connections have carried me through the years, even still today. Good Luck to all those taking the ISEE and I'd say if you can take some test prep courses, just do it :)

Thanks for stopping by!
