We love supporting our local farmers and buying locally-grown produce and goods. Farmers markets in the Boston area typically open for the season in June and operate weekly thru the Fall. It can be fun for the whole family to visit and browse the amazing vendors at each market together.
Here are four things to note before heading out to farmers markets in Boston, Dorchester, South Boston, Quincy, Milton, Hyde Park, Roslindale, Jamaica Plain, Readville, Roxbury & Mattapan.
- Local farmers markets can sometimes change hours on short notice dependent on weather, produce availability, and other factors. It's best to call ahead to make sure. Prices can also change from day to day.
- Bring your own containers or bags to avoid any extra charges!
- Bring cash as some Boston farmer market stands don't take credit cards.
- Many farmers markets in Boston have guidelines in place due to COVID. Please check their websites or social media sites before heading out!

- The market at Kilroy Square is in the heart of downtown Quincy, close to its original location in the Hancock Parking Lot (which no longer exists). It is located at 25 Cottage Avenue next to the Fours Restaurant
