Last weekend, we got a chance to see Matilda at the Wheelock family theatre. What a nostalgic feeling it was for me and a new adventure for Amani!
The cast did such a great job and the music was so catchy and fun. One of my favorite things about the Wheelock Family Theatre is the opportunity that children and teens get to be on stage. It was so cool for Amani to see children only a bit older than him as main characters and stars of the show.
Aside from the show, the staff was so kind and helpful and there were snacks available to purchase which was a plus for the children. The trip was worth the short walk in the rain! Matilda is here until November 20th but the Wheelock Family Theatre has so many great shows each year.
I wonder what show we will go to next?
